New oneshot up on the other blog + Post-Game 3 drabbles!!

I was asked to write a story for a friend's birthday.
I know I haven't written anything in awhile, been on a sort of sabbatical from it all.
But for her... Please check out Some Nights and leave a comment :)

Also, after Game 3... when things were sooooo bad...  The boys came back home, and in my head, my ALS couples needed to vent. And obviously they wouldn't all act the same way!
I took the couples... Johnny/Tori, Kris/Lexie, Brooks/Amanda, Geno/Erin, Sid/Melany... and I told myself that the drabble could only have 100 words a piece. This is what ensued. And I did feel a little better afterwards.

Tori heard the front door open. She adjusted the cups of the teddy and cracked her neck before standing in the doorway to their bathroom. She listened for the thump of his feet on the stairs, heard his sigh as he started down the hallway.
“Don’t look so down Daddy, Momma’s got some lovin’ for ya,” she said is a low voice. She watched his eyes shoot to her face, then travel down her body. He was on her in three steps, hands in her hair.
“I could definitely use that,” Brent smiled sadly as his hungry mouth found hers.

The door slammed against the wall as he flung it open in disgust. He’d let his emotions get the best of him, and then spent most of the game in the locker room. He only had himself to blame. But those fucking Flayers… Fucking Max. He hated him. He needed a drink and a shower. He needed…
“Kris?”
He spun on his heel to see Lexie curled into the end of the couch. There were tears in her eyes.
“I’m pregnant,” she smiled.
He smiled back. He needed to call Max to let him know he was becoming a godfather.

“Brooks, please talk to me. Let me in.”
“Amanda, I can’t get into it. I can’t… I’m too angry.”
“Please, you need to explain it all. You need to talk about it.”
“I don’t know how to help the fucking team! I don’t know what to do to make it better, to make us better! I’m playing the best I can!”
“That’s all you can do, baby. That’s all. It’ll work out.”
She held him as the water poured over them, the steam swirling. The shower had started an hour ago. And she’d stay until the hot water ran out.

 “Daddy! Up!”
She watched as Geno bent down and picked up their daughter, squeezing her until Erin was positive the little thing would pop. He finally set her down and watched as their bundle of energy ran off to the living room.
“Iz good be home. See my girls. Nights too long with you not there.”
“You mean your nights are too lonely,” Erin said with a smile.
“That too. Brooks not snuggly like you!”
They both laughed quietly and she was glad that he wasn’t being too hard on himself.
“I score next game.”
“Sounds good to me Geno.”

“I love you,” he whispered against her ear.
She turned and pressed her lips to his. There was restraint there, he was holding himself back. She was having none of it. Curling her body into him, she grabbed his hair and arched her body against him.
“Melany, this probably isn’t the smartest thing. I should be reviewing game tapes and… low blow, woman.”
She chuckled as her fingers wrapped around his cock over his shorts.
“John’s napping, you need to relieve some stress, and I am feeling awfully frisky after watching you be a badass.”
“As you wish,” he growled.

    1. I don't have a Sid story, but I'm currently working on the Brooks/Amanda spin-off. I think it will be around the same chapter length as Fall Into Me was.
      I do have a couple one-shots about Sid: http://hockeyshortstories.blogspot.com/2011/09/untitled-sidney-crosby-one-shot.html
